A fix for a Firefox/Download Status Bar quit bug
Authored by: _merlin on Nov 12, '04 07:16:02AM

I use Safari for general browsing, but for web development I need FireFox. Overall, FireFox seems to have the most complete implementation of XHTML and CSS. I develop against the standard, and make it work in FireFox. Then I use browser sniffing to alter the style sheets (and sometimes the pages, too) to make it work in Safari and IE for Windows. (Safari usually only needs very minor changes. However, IE often needs huge changes to work around bugs, and even then it doesn't really work properly.)

Also, the Web Developer WAP browser extensions are very useful.
