A speed trick for playing older PC games with Virtual PC
If you're looking to play old Lucasarts games, a much better "hint" would be to just use ScummVM.
Native app emulating the game engine all the classics use. Was playing Full Throttle on the sly here at work juts moments ago, on a 450mhz G3 with no problems. :)

Monkey Island 3 and 4 do not work in ScummVM because they are built on different frameworks than the first two Monkey Island games, and different than each other as well.

Monkey Island 3: The Curse of Monkey Island works just fine in the SCUMMVM engine. Played it all the way through [iBook 800Mhz, 640MB] with minor glitches (best to have all CDs loaded physically or virtually). |
