Using Airport Extreme and a third-party DHCP server
Authored by: jcbeckman on Oct 11, '04 12:39:13PM

You don't need to do this unless you want the Extreme to be a WDS. I f you just want it to be an access point, set it for DHCP for its own address, and plug it in. I use mine at home with one network, and then take it to work with an entirely different address scheme and domain. At home my Pather Server dishes out DHCP addresses, and at work it's a Windows server somewhere.
