Use Airport Express as ethernet to wireless bridge
Authored by: jprickitt on Oct 04, '04 11:32:03AM

Thanks for the detailed info.

So, are you saying I would need to buy 2 Airport Expresses, one to attach to my Netgear 814v1 router, and the other to go downstairs near where I want the network to extend? And that the Ethernet port on the remote Express would be disabled?

But the benefit is that I'd have greater wireless range. Mainly I want my G4 PowerBook with built-in wireless to be able to connect to the network more reliably, so that need would be satisfied. It would have been better to have the Ethernet port available too...
