Use Airport Express as ethernet to wireless bridge

I went to my local Apple Store and asked the Genius bar if I could use the Express this way. They said No. The express would extend a network wirelessly, but when it did so, the it wouldn't give access to a machine plugged into the Ethernet port. That didn't make any sense to me, so I chose not to believe him and to try it myself (for my ReplayTV).

It worked like a charm.

Phenomenal little devices.

The genius is wrong... what is this world coming to? Soon we will see Microsoft selling PCs with Linux pre-installed, and Apple selling Windows-running PCs...
