10.3: A quick fix for USB-to-Serial (MCT) support

I seem to get some e-mails from people on this, so I thought I'd provide more details. As I said, there is a space missing in one of the commands in the original message, plus the driver name for the Belkin driver is slightly different. The commands are:

sudo chmod -R og-w /System/Library/Extensions/BelkinSerialDriver.kext
sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/BelkinSerialDriver.kext
Anyhow, I hope this works for you. No guarantees on my part, but it seemed to work for me. The Belkin beta driver website unfortunately does not seem to be available anymore though, so I hope the driver can be found elsewhere.

Thank you for the assistance and I have found a link to the Belkin OSX driver for the Serial-to-USB Converter at the following site:

The site also has a document that explains the installation process.

Thank you!
