Install a parallel printer on a Base Station

Is it that simple if you use the PowerPrint (from Infowave or wherever that product ended up) USB to Parallel cable? (i.e. no software driver needed?) Larry.

Install a parallel printer on a Base Station

I just tried this with an HP 5M and it works great. I used a $20 parallel to USB adaptor from Micro Innovations that I bought from Wally World. Rendevouz instantly recognized it at a HP 5M (although it wanted to use generic drivers). I manually selected the HP 5M driver and it prints just fine.
