You are aware that you can get PithHelmet for Safari free to block ads, right?

just use pithhelmet with safari, if ads are a big problem for you. Transparent and customisable, one of my most favorite freebies that i've used.

Pith Helmet

If, per chance, you want to support a website by viewing the ads and occasionally clicking on them, just right-click (left-click for lefties) on the page and select "never block ads from macosxhints.com".
