Extract the Apple Remote Desktop 2.0 client installer
Um, maybe this is a little too easy and it was overlooked, but simply click "Create Client Installer..." in the ARD 2.0 file menu and it will save one to your desktop, no mucking around with package contents required.
Extract the Apple Remote Desktop 2.0 client installer
Oh, and the advantage to doing it this way is that you are offered the option to costomize the client installer. Things like "Do you want to start Remote Desktop on the clients", "Should the Remote Desktop menu be shown?". You can also setup accounts that can use Remote Desktop. There really are several options you can setup, and it makes it really handy to install in other places cause a lot of stuff can be taken care of for you.
harry is right...
