Create interactive slideshows for Windows users

You can also drag from the Finder, but who views their images there?

Those of us who don't want to deal with the overhead of iPhoto. I regularly run 100-200 photos per shooting session and don't have the disk space on my laptop to put them all in iPhoto. I sort them onto my external hard drives and use finder's column mode to see thumbnails of them as necessary.

That's true, if you aren't viewing your photos much (which is what that comment states), Finder prieviews would do. However, you can use a library on another volume, so the fact that you use an external hd shouldn't be a limitation for you. Sounds like a file manager is more appropriate for your situation than an image manager, as you say.
