Create interactive slideshows for Windows users

I haven't tried to create a slideshow for a Windoz user using iPhoto 4 yet, but iPhoto 3 exports a Windoz-playable slideshow from any album.

Create interactive slideshows for Windows users

The problem is not creating a windows-playable slideshow. It's creating one that is interactive (i.e. will advance slides on mouse click or spacebar press).

How do you actually make an iPhoto slideshow Windows playable?

I understand how you want to make your slideshow on Windows interactive so you don't have to look super-fast, but how can you make any slideshow Windows playable? I believe you mentioned it in your hint, but I probably didn't catch it.

By exporting as a Quicktime Movie. QT supports interactive slideshows, but iPhoto doesn't give you this option when you export from it. If you really want to make it Windows compatible (as it would appear to your average windoze user), you can use QT Pro to convert it to .avi. Admittedly, i'm not certain that WMP supports interactive slideshows.

There is a program called eZediaQTI that will easily let you create interactive quicktime slideshows, as well as being able to add other types of interactivity. http://www.ezedia.com/eZediaQTI/

There's even a training video on how to create an interactive slideshow.
