Create and file Safari bookmarks at the same time

Have you ever tried to navigate a few hundred sub-folders in a drop-down list? Granted, not everyone has such an archive, but I've used nothing but the hint above since switching to Safari last year.

Mileage varies according to use :)

Create and file Safari bookmarks at the same time

I guess that makes sense; it's just that I no longer keep any folders more than three deep, and not many at that; too much web content seems to die or expire or move these days. If I really want to see it again, I make sure to save a local archive -- and I can't wait for Tiger's Safari, which allows archives IE style.

I guess the main reason I dislike this hint for myself is that it requires a mouse. With Universal access via Command-D, then Tab, arrow and letter keys, I can rapidly keystroke exactly where I want to be without ever touching the pointing device; something I despise under the best of conditions, let alone on my PowerBook and my *terrible* control problems with trackpads (I tend to be very static-y, and lose control quickly).

Thanks for the feedback.
