Reveal Deskstop

One of the few things I like about the Windows UI is the "Reveal Desktop" icon in the taskbar launcher area. Apple provides Hide App and Hide Others menu items, but oddly, nothing for Hide All. Sometimes you just want to clear the decks and see what's on the desktop, quickly and without futzing around.

Go into ASM's preferences panel (which is also available from the System preferences panel). Take a look in Menu Settings | Special Items | Show & Hide Items. Check the "Hide All" option and close.

Hide All will now be one of the items at the top of the ASM menu, and a revealed desktop will always be a mouse gesture away.
