Dock Detox
yes, you can quit dock detox via the process viewer and the icons will start bouncing again. btw, if you've got bouncing icons when you first launch dock detox they'll keep bouncing until you either logout and login again or use the process viewer to quit the dock whereupon once it relaunches it will pay attention to dock detox.

or, presumably you could re-launch the dock without logging out using the applescript: "tell application "dock" to quit"--I have such a script in my script menu for those problem dock occasions. ;-)
