Using a PC-only hardware MP3 player with iTunes

Yes, you can use a MuVo with iTunes, I do it all the time. I have no problem dragging and dropping files from my library in itunes to the MuVo, it appears just like an iPod! I'm using 10.2.8 w/iTunes 4.6.

Also, files typically play on the MuVo in the order in which they were copied to it....(pretty sure about this).... Anyways, if you switch to Column view in the finder (not list or icon) and copy your files to the Muvo (instead of using itunes) then the order you have there in that view will be preserved on the muvo. This is typically alphabetical order. This trick has been around for a long time, the column view handles the order of the copy exactly as you see it... this applies to every copy or move operation in the finder.
