Fix an iDisk 'file busy' error

On Panther, most writes are to the local (mirror) copy of the iDisk and then syncronize in the background to the server copy.

You should be able to "force" an update by right clicking on the triangle next to the icon.

This is only the case if you've chosen to create a local copy of your iDisk -- an option which, if I recall correctly, is disabled by default.

Creating a local mirror copy is off by default. I think that's backwards as the mirror makes it usable & was one of the selling points of Panther. Turn that on and it makes the iDisk seem like a high speed local disk ('cause it is!).

I'm on Jag now so I can't describe the exact steps, but it's Sys Prefs > .Mac> Options (?) > Create local copy (checkbox mid way down)
