Another route to eject stubborn stuck CDs

Did you try holding down the mouse button while the computer was booting up? That usually causes the computer to eject all removable drives before attempting to discover boot disks.

I believe the iBook also has the emergency eject hole on the drive. Look for a small hole in or near the drive. You should be able to shut down the computer and then use a straightened paper clip to push a lever inside the hole. It will take a little force but the drive should pop open and you'll be able to remove the disk. You can then close the drive and boot normally.

If the iBook is frozen and you can't shut it down normally hold the power button for a while and the computer will power down.
