I have the same Belkin adapter. I reinstalled the driver & used the two Terminal commands [Using the file path to the BelkinSerialDriver.kext]. I then rebooted & still got the same error. Exactly what did you do to make it work?

There seems to be a space missing between the "root:wheel" and the path to the driver in the second command.

I seem to get some e-mails from people on this, so I thought I'd provide more details. As I said, there is a space missing in one of the commands in the original message, plus the driver name for the Belkin driver is slightly different. The commands are:
Anyhow, I hope this works for you. No guarantees on my part, but it seemed to work for me. The Belkin beta driver website unfortunately does not seem to be available anymore though, so I hope the driver can be found elsewhere.
