Organize in-progress iTunes playlists via renaming

I recall a tip that suggested using various dingbats (like the Apple logo via option-shift-K, or a musical note but I can't remember how to generate that via the keyboard) to sort appropriately.

I even remember seeing a chart that listed the "sort order" of these characters.

Top is easy; bottom is hard!

As far as I can tell, just about every non-alphabetic character is sorted above letters. Which is great for you, but a pain for someone like me who has a shortish list and would like to be able to put certain playlists at the bottom! My only solution has been to use leading 'z's... [fx: snooze]
