Play DVDs across multiple monitors
Authored by: Rasta Asia on Apr 16, '04 07:48:25AM

LonnieBear,

'Just turn on Zooming under the Seeing tab of the Universal Access preference panel.'

I'm using OSX 10.3.3 with a G5 and 2x17" Dvi-D monitors. I cannot seem to find Universal Access preference panel as mentioned... Can you help me out here?

Would be nice to be able to watch DVDs in wide screen mode as mentioned.

Should be in your system Preferences. Mine is at the far right in the "System" group. Once Universal access is enabled (it might be enabled by default), you toggle Zooming on or off using "cmd option 8". When it's toggled on, you zoom in with "cmd option =" (or plus) and zoom back out with "cmd option -" (or minus).

I have 2 monitors, and I know that zooming works across them, but I never thought to try playing a DVD with the zoom on. And I never came across this hint, although it is pretty old... I'll try it out later, after work...
Good Luck!

Ganymede
