Use a non-Wacom tablet in Mac OS X
Authored by: husky on Apr 06, '04 11:13:34AM

Just trying out a friend's no-name brand tablet (actually Medion, but close enough). My powerbook with OSX10.3.3 recognises it, the ink preference pane appears, and I'm able to get some (not very good) mouse function from it. The system prefs shows up as USB Tablet Series Version 1.05 and the Vendor name comes up as AIPTEK International Inc, Product ID 16 ($10).

However, no ink or handwriting recognition. I don't expect to it, but would welcome any suggestions!

Try this for your AIPTEK/Medion tablet - it sort of works for me... their drivers are shocking arcane though...
