It's a PCI FireWire 400 card (FSU501-APL). However, it seems I spoke too soon about it working "flawlessly." I've discovered that my machine no longer goes into deep sleep with the card installed. The OS stops running, but since the machine isn't totally asleep the fans go full blast (fail-safe mode). It seems that this is a common problem. This page on http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/ has a list of people who have had similar problems. I'm going to be calling Belkin and/or Apple tomorrow to see if I can get this resolved ASAP.
