Remote control a Mac from a PocketPC

Just to let you guys know, this works over wi-fi as well and it is a little easier than with bluetooth.
Some updates I have found with playing with it.
1. Use the tcpip address for faster connection
2. If OSXVNC acts up (doesn't start try moving it from the folder and then put it back into the applications folder. Mine seems to work this way for some reason
Thanks for posting that link!

Remote control a Mac from a PocketPC

it took me a little while but I finally got this to work over a linksys wrt54g route
1) turned on OSXvnc. on the general tab note your port number.
2) on the router in application and game setting - set a port enabled to match the port on the OSXvnc. (usually 5900). I did this by putting in 5900 in both start and end. then i set the ip address to the mac.
i have a multiple os system on the other side of the router but i havent tried it with the other system (yet).
3) turn on wi-fi on my ipaq 5455.
4) set my vncviewer to 192.168.1.69:5900.
5) viola.

i noticed its slow to scroll. but the ipaq is a small screen trying to replicate 1280x1024 so that's to be expected

Great hint!!!
