Review: Contour NoteRiser

Nice review.

For a while I've been looking at different PowerBook desktop stands such as the NoteRiser and the iCurve. As stylish as they both are, I'm too cheap to pay more than $20 just for something to prop up a laptop.

While browsing the aisles at OfficeMax, I found an acrylic telephone stand called the 'Eldon phone director' (sorry, I don't have a link. Just google it) for $10 that elevates the PowerBook to just the right height for me. The only addition I made was to add some of those adhesive rubber feet on the top to provide additional traction against the bottom of the PB, and so that slot-loading DVD drive on the front will clear the bottom edge of the stand.
