The photos make it look like the two front rubber pieces obstruct the slot loading drive. Can anyone add if this is the case? If so, it seems like this could be an inconvenience at best and a danger at worst if a disc was prevented from ejecting.

I saw this product featured on TechTV...it was in their "Don't Buy This" part of the show. Literally, they have a section of one of their programs that feature products to stay away from. This was one of them. :\

I personally haven't used it but $130 seems a little steep for a piece of foldable metal.

On a 15" PowerBook, yes, I think the feet would obstruct the slot loading drive. On my 12", the slot is on the side so it's not an issue I ran into. I will update the review to note that fact tonight.
