Mac OS X Anti-Metadata Petition

I'm all for different viewpoints, but reading some of the comments by those who signed the "anti petition", it's clear they have misunderstood meta-data.

It's quite common that people think meta-data equals multi-forked files, which is completeley untrue.

It's also untrue that there are interoperability problems.

It's certainly untrue that moving to file extensions is "moving forward". Heard of MS-DOS? Is that really the way forward?
