You don't need to double-click, just option-click.

Option Key => the "Do to All" key for window management

Of course I'm sure everyone here already knows this, but if you don't... the Option key is like the "do to all" key for window management. Cmd-W closes a window, Cmd-Option-W closes all windows for an app. Cmd-S saves a file, Cmd-Option-S saves all files. Clicking on the Close, Minimize, Maximize buttons in the title bar with the Option key will apply the click to all windows for that app. Of course you're results will vary based on the app. This also works with Windowshade (http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/wsx/) to shade or unshade all windows in an app. Hopefully someone finds this useful.
