GraphicConverter - Hall of Fame App

For those of us that are frugal (not so many, I suppose, among the Mac crowd), there's the (mostly) command-line program imagemagick, which is open source--and therefore free. I'll mention that it's on Fink, even though you probably already know about imagemagick if you're using Fink. It has a number of manipulation and transformation filters, and since it's the command-line, it does batch processing by default. It supports an absurd number of graphics formats, though not quite as many as GraphicConverter (I think... I didn't actually count the number of supported formats. It definitely doesn't support proprietary stuff like lwf).

There is also a gui called 'display,' but I don't believe it lends well to batch processing.
