Close PowerBook lid without sleeping the machine

This isn't the full story, there are some aditonal important things to know
Sleepless uses the kernel extension developed origionally for kismac (with permission) this extension was developed under 10.2 and doesn't work fully under 10.3

when sleep mode is disabled it won't sleep when the lid is closed, which is what you want, the problem comes after 4 minutes when the new power management system under 10.3 will shut down the computer.

and yes, powerbooks are meant to be able to run when closed, so that they can be used with an external monitor

want more details? try This

Any 'book will be shut down if used with SleepLess or Insomnia.kext on BATTERY power after 4 minutes.
But it will NOT if used with power adapter plugged.
