Kill vs. Reboot
I really don't know how it works, and I haven't tried it. But can anyone confirm that you have to reboot to gain new funtionality, not just kill and relaunch. I guess there might be some more things you'd have to do, like checking if the application checks for a file created and destroyed at start-up respectively shutdown, but it should be able to have a better trial application than what is provided.
It works
I just tried it ... and it really rocks. Using IPNetShareX and FireNet, I've been able to surf the internet on my Tibook connected to the Desktop G4 by FireWire.
It works... not so well
I've actually had 3 kernel panic on the TiBook since I installed it... the very last one while copying folders via IP... |
