Works in Mozilla browsers, too (kind of)
Authored by: googoo on Mar 04, '04 11:48:32AM

This hint works in the Mozilla browsers (Firefox, Camino, Mozilla) as long as you have not selected any text on the page yet and you press shift before the mouse. If you have previously selected text on the page (even if it is no longer selected) holding the shift with the mouse has no special behavior. I suspect that selecting text on the page gives the software a reference position for selections, and that reference position is retained even after "unselecting" the text. (Just a guess, though.)
