10.3: Enable the Snapscan 1236s SCSI scanner
As I was having the same problem I thought I'd give your suggestion a try (btw, did you make the same comment at VersionTracker?). After a couple of aborted attempts to replace the file (I'm not too proficient with Terminal) I finally removed version 1.3.0 from the Extensions folder and put version 1.2.4 there in its place. Yes, ScanWise did at last work but I keep getting the following message after bootup:
