Change the iPod battery display style

Open your Applications Folder, then find the Utilites Folder. The Terminal is an application in the Utilities Folder. Double click it and you'll get a window with a prompt something like this:
[embryo-computer:~] zygote%
where "embryo" is replaced with your computer's name and "zygote" with your account name or close to that. Type commands after the % sign.

Before you start using the Terminal, you should become more familiar with what it can do. (Those things fall into two categories: really cool and really dangerous.) Check this out this primer: http://www.xml-dev.com:8080/tldp/http://oliyoung.com/TerminalBasic.xml
