Change the iPod battery display style to minutes?
Authored by: xander on Feb 27, '04 04:48:20PM

Great tip, mine shows 497. Who else thinks the display is minutes. Considering the battery is rated at 8 hour that would be 480, each battery is going to be different depending on settings (backlight, clock etc) and it's condition I don't think it would be unreasonalbe to get 510-520 minutes out of a battery.

In the same respect, why would it read 500 volts? If the display was a multiplier of voltage it would read between 8x and 30x vdc constantly until the battery fail to provide the vecessary voltage (ie, battery drained), the only thing that makes sense is that the display is showing voltamps in minutes hence the diminishing count. And considering the rating of the battery the numbers quoted here seem to verify that.
