Firefox, Tabbrowser Extension
I'm having trouble with Firefox and the latest Tabbrowser Extension on my Powerbook (Panther). The tabs show the site icon but not the title and are squished as small as can be. Deleting and re-installing does nothing. Switching on the "use another appearance for Mac OS X" preference doesn't fix it. May I also recommend, for web developers, the appropriately named Web Developer extension.
Web Developer Extension
Hmmm... messed up the link. Let's try again:
Firefox, Tabbrowser Extension
you're going to need to use a theme other than the Pinstripe theme which Firefox uses as the OS X default...for some reason its tabs are hideously broken with TBE. personally, i recommend Aaron Spuler's Smoke theme...i think that it goes very nicely with OS X. you can find it at mozthemes.tk. he even has a specific OS X version of it, that keeps Aqua's scrollbar. you could also check out the offerings on texturizer.net, which archives a great collection of Firefox themes, extensions, and help. just make sure that the theme says that it's for Firefox 0.8, and not an older version of Firebird. |
