Use a Linux file system for Mac/PC drive sharing

Do these programs support ext2 and ext3? The project page on sourceforge looks like it's only for ext2.

Ext2FS supports mounting and reading/writing both ext2 and ext3 (journaled). I have found Ext2FS versions later than 1.0.1 to be VERY picky about mounting ext3 PPC Linux volumes, the last dismount must have been perfect or the volume will refuse to mount in OSX. It's a feature to protect against mounting unclean volumes, but I have found it refuses to mount most volumes that were shut down properly, which 1.0.1 handles effortlessly. I do miss the ability to easily rename the ext3 volume in Panther, which the latest versions provide.
