Does having dual screens stop the cube effect too? I run 2 screens and have never seen it. I run QE on both monitors

No, I have dual monitors and I get the cube effect. My experience is that:
(a) Quartz Extreme has to be on
(b) the bit depth and resolution has to be the same on both monitors
(c) the bit depth and resolution has to be the same for both users
For the curious, you only get the cube effect on the main (menubar) monitor, while the other monitor just goes blue during the transition.
