10.3: Print from Windows XP to a shared Mac printer
Very good hint that. I have one problem with it though, due to our setup, my machine happens to be on a different subnet than the PC with the printer, so Printer Setup does not list the printer :(
10.3: Print from Windows XP to a shared Mac printer
I also can't get this to work. I am using an old Snow Airport base station to share internat access. The printer is connected directly to a B&W G3. The G3 is connected directly to the Airport base station via ethernet and the PC running WinXP home is logged on to the wireless network. The Name for the G3 shows up in the dialog for adding a network printer, but the attached printer does not. I have a CUPS print driver installed and have WIndows sharing and Printer sharing turned on. Any ideas? DO I need to install any print drivers on the Windows side? |
