Much more than an app switcher!
Authored by: echo on Nov 29, '01 03:48:23AM

The app switcher is only part of what this program does.

Programable keys, including FKeys without modifier keys, for:
Launching programs, scripts, files, URLs
Insert text
A bunch of pre programed choices like:
Quit all, others
Hide all, others, current
Bring current apps windows forward (!)

Remap keystroke
Exclude list for switching and launching

The best part, and what I value so much in third party software, is that it runs an invisible daemon and doesn't keep the main program running.

This is the OS X version of Program Switcher. I have no affiliation, just one of those programs that lets me use OS X closer to how I want.

cool app, but …

Yes cool app
BUT IT CANNOT overide the defaults "command-tab / shift-command-tab" !!!
you can choose whatever keystroke you want, you WILL STILL HAVE the apple built-in defaults keystroke.

I've looked around some (many) sites and for know, no one has found a hint on this.
I wich i could skip from "command-tab" to "ctrl-tab" (was possible in OS 9 with an 'help' applescript or Prestissimo). I know I'm not alone with this wish and anyone who is like me go to the apple feedback page…
And when photoshop and X-press will be available for Os X, all the power users of these two apps will want it too. the command-tab shorcut is one of the key for rapidity -for me at least- with those apps. I haven't tried illustrator 10 because of that.

if anyone does know where this keystroke is hidden in the system, please let us know.
