Put Mail.app back online with one click

While this hint was obvious to many, the fact is that this is a relatively new GUI widget that Apple is introducing to many of the Cocoa apps they produce that have sidebar controls. For example, this particular widget in Apple Mail is analogous to the "eject" hotspot in the new Finder.

Obvious? Maybe. New enough for many to miss? Absolutely.

It turns out that some implementations of this widget have some problems, especially with window focus and when they are "active". I don't know if the Mail interface shares this problem, but there are cases where the Finder will accept a "click-through" and eject a volume when you really just wanted to bring things to the foreground.
