Create browseable non-Apple loops in GarageBand
Authored by: tonyinsf on Feb 06, '04 12:48:01AM

My internal drive is almost full. Isn't there a way to have the loops on an external drive? I have two drives with lots of free space.

I would love to get the Apple Garageband Loops for $99, but I have no room for them!

I'm sure that if you created deleted the user loops folders.. then put your loops on another drive.. and made an alias or symlink it _should_ work..

I tried to do the thing with aliases but it seems not to work. Anyone have a solution to read and browse loops located in other disks than the system disk? I can't add all those loops in the regular path Library-ApplicationSupport-GarageBand...

Thanks
