Run DiskWarrior 3.0.1 on a G5 from an older Mac

This method may work for tidying up your g5's files a little. However if you have a major crash on the G5's hard drive you may be in trouble as in most cases disk warrior can only repair major problems when booted from the CD.

In that case, place the G5 in Target Disk mode, and then boot the second machine from the DiskWarrior 3.0.1 CD. As long as the damaged boot device on the G5 is at ATA 0/0, it will mount and can be repaired.
