Windows TTF on OSX
Authored by: igor_k on Nov 27, '01 03:51:29PM

I found all of your comments very helpful. I am a native Russian, and naturally I enabled the support for the Cyrillic alphabet in my OS X. However, I was quite upset when I found out that the font that Apple has chosen to be the System font isn't a full character unicode set. So when I am browesing the Cyrillic based web pages the window titles are displayed in gibberish. Apple incleded a few Cyrillic fonts to "support" the Russian, Ukrainian and Bulgarian languages but they are really lousy looking. I am looking forward to time when Apple will make it possible for the users to choose their own System font, and when more full character unicode fonts will become available.

If you have any comments/suggestions on what I just said feel free to contact me.
