Time for yet another look...
This is the fourth browser poll we've run:
Clearly, the release of Safari had a major impact on OS X users' browser of choice! It will be interesting to see what OmniWeb 5.0 does to the landscape (pros: cool features, WebKit rendering; cons: costs money) in the months to come...

Time for yet another look...
I have a simple question. With all of the free browsers out there, why would anyone want to pay for Omniweb? They have a free download, but what would be the motivation for purchasing a license? I don't see the logic.
Time for yet another look...
Two reasons: one, it offers features that you think are worth paying for. Two, you want to support an OS X vendor who has written some great stuff for the platform. I used reason number two when I paid for one of the early versions ... I may pay for the new 5.0 once it goes final and I've had a chance to play with it to see what it offers. |
