10.3: Add a Junk button to Mail's standalone message viewer
This rocks, but along the same note... Does anyone know how to remove the dialog box that comes up each time I bounce an e-mail? When I click bounce, to bounce a piece of spam, I want it to go right then. I'm pretty sure I know when i want to bounce something!
10.3: Add a Junk button to Mail's standalone message viewer
Just a silly question... why do you even bother to Open and or Read SPAM? Whatever makes it thru the filter and shows up in the message window gets selected (I don't use the split viewer window either) and immediately sent to the Junk pile.
Bouncing spam considered harmful
You actually shouldn't do this at all. Spam is often sent with a forged Sender: address, which means your bounce does not go to the spammer, but to some innocent third party. Bouncing it back to them just adds to the problem, as they're already being inundated with real bounces, as well as angry e-mail and remove requests from the people who don't know better. |
