preview pane

hi,
i just found out, that when you do a "get info" command in the finder, the get info-window is updated whenever you select another file/folder/whatever.
although it seems no longer possible to have multiple info-windows open (to compare stuff e.g.), one can use this as an alternative to the info-pane in pane-view: preview pics one by one, play mp3s, movies, etc.
PLUS: select more than one file and the os calculates the two file sizes into one. :)
pretty cool.
you can also select multiple files and assign a default-app that way...
