Change the next/previous tab shortcuts in Safari and Camino
Authored by: liquidgood on Jan 15, '04 06:12:16PM
you don't have to go that far, unless you need to change the setting for more than one user.

this trick has been posted several times in various forms here, here and here.

i added this to my org.mozilla.navigator.plist in ~/Library/Preferences in jaguar, so i've no reason to use the panther pref pane (haven't even tried it yet).

gives you command-` for next tab:

	<key>NSUserKeyEquivalents</key>
	<dict>
		<key>Next Tab</key>
		<string>@`</string>
	</dict>

Change the next/previous tab shortcuts in Safari and Camino

I did the same thing and assigned command-1 and -2 to previous and next tab. This can be easily done from the command line
defaults write org.mozilla.navigator NSUserKeyEquivalents -dict-add 'Previous Tab' '@1'
defaults write org.mozilla.navigator NSUserKeyEquivalents -dict-add 'Next Tab' '@2'
As mentioned in many other hints here :-).

BTW: Command-Shift-Left/Right will be in one of the upcoming Nightlies of Camino, so stay tuned :-).
