This issue is not specific to Panther
Authored by: mecchaeric on Jan 08, '04 09:45:34AM

This is not just specific to Panther. In fact, I had the same issue w/ Jaguar client and Jaguar server on my Beige PowerMac G3 233 MHz. The install just didn't like the third party RAM I installed. Luckily, I had the original two 64 MB chips. One I took out the third party RAM and put in the original RAM, install went fine. Once I knew the install went ok (and after installing other apps) and I backed up, I swapped back the third party RAM. Everything runs fine.
