Close Cocoa apps' preferences window via the keyboard
Authored by: aranor on Jan 07, '04 04:45:08PM

TextEdit is Cocoa. The real secret here is that the Panel class of window in Cocoa will close with the Escape key (and I guess the Cmd-. keystroke as well). And the preference window is general set to be a Panel in Cocoa apps. I guess in TextEdit it's not a panel (but you could make it one if you edit the nib file).
