10.3: A fix for a junk mail filtering issue
I had the same problem and reported it as a bug... then I found a workaround.
10.3: A fix for a junk mail filtering issue
well with me Junk wasnt working except for color coding the inbox email so you knew what it was considering Junk. After toying with why it didn't want to work right off the top I started trainning it. When something was junk I told it it was. After a week of that I set the junk to do what I wanted it to do and its worked perfectly ever since. I had no rules set up at that time either. It seems it wants to be trained so you are not deleting important email by mistake with the Junk filter. Im sure that the problem lies in the file that mail keeps in the system telling it how to respond and once it has a list to operate from then it can work as you like. You guys just figured out a work around. Good job none the less. |
